July has always been my month to prepare for Christmas. For so many years, it was my time to create Christmas books for my students and every year I would create new arrangements for my students. My students would grin from ear to ear each October as I handed them their own book with songs chosen just for them. And happy students translated into happy parents. A student that may have been reluctant to play and practice would suddenly be spending time trying out every song in their new book of Christmas music. These arrangements are what got me thinking about composing. And ultimately inspired me to record my first Album, ECHOES OF LIFE.
I miss those happy faces at this time of year. So, as I am finishing my first Christmas Album, SNOWLIGHT, I wanted to give my fans a gift. I decided to post some free sheet music arrangements and some free MP3’s that I recorded specifically for this purpose. Be sure to return often, because if this becomes popular, I will probably post more.
And keep an eye out for my new album, SNOWLIGHT, that should be released in late September/early October 2015. I am very proud of this, my second album. You could say this album has been 20 years in the making. All those arrangements for my students turned into some of my favorite Christmas arrangements!
